Research colloquium

Our research colloquium “Ethics and Critical Theories of AI” covers advanced topics in the ethics of AI, critical social theories of the digital society, privacy and data protection, social philosophy, philosophy of technology and media studies of AI. We read recent publications as well as classical texts, debate presentations of ongoing projects and regularly host guest talks by interesting scholars in the field.

The colloquium meets during term time (mid April – mid July + mid October – early February). In the summer term 2024 we meet every Tuesday, 9:30–12:00.

Our colloquium meets in a hybrid format. Interested researchers, practitioners and advanced students (MA, Ph.D.) from anywhere in the world are welcome to join.
